The problem

A verified medical quote and an anonymous plea arrive in the same feed, styled the same way. Supporters are left to guess.
Money leaves through a payment link and the story ends there. Most donors never learn whether the animal was actually helped.
Rewriting the same request across four platforms, then defending it in the comments, is work no one signed up for.
Small, rural, and volunteer-run organizations do the same work with a fraction of the audience, so genuine need goes unmet.

Pick the organizations you care about. Your feed is built from who you follow, in the order needs arrive — not from what an algorithm thinks will keep you scrolling.
Goal, purpose, category, the date it is tied to, the organization behind it, and a summary of the documentation on file. Then fund it in seconds.
When a need closes, the organization files an outcome update. That update comes to you. Your impact history stays private to you.
Beacon Status
Every organization carries a visible status. It moves with their record of clearly defined requests and filed outcomes — not with their follower count.
Verified — whether a US 501(c)(3), municipal shelter, or humane society, every organization has their first three requests read by a person. Expect 24-48 hours, so we are not the right tool for an emergency yet.
A short compliant history. Requests publish faster, and flagged content still routes to a moderator before it goes live.
A long record of clearly defined requests and filed outcomes. Less friction, never less accountability — a missed update pauses routine requests at any stage.
The Light
A closed need owes you an update. Ninety percent of them arriving on time is how we will know this is working.
Dental went well, all four extractions healed clean, and Marbles was cleared for adoption nine days later. He went home with a retired couple in Columbus.

Deliberately not building
The platform should feel alive because needs are being met — not because it manufactures anxiety. These are permanent commitments, not a shortlist for later.
Private beta
The next step is interviews with 8–12 organizations and a clickable prototype tested by real rescue staff and supporters. The pilot opens once those agree with each other.
Support the build
Rescue is chaotic. The systems supporting it shouldn’t be. What started as an idea is now becoming a real platform, and I’m building it from the ground up to give rescuers better tools, stronger connections, and a place to find help when it matters most.
